Situated on the outskirts of Methven with a breathtaking panorama over Mount Hutt, (best seen from the first floor sun deck) Glen Byrne Lodge has been designed and furnished to the highest quality in order to provide luxury accommodation in a peaceful and relaxing setting.

The ground floor features a Twin bedroom and a Double room with Queen sized bed (which leads on to a paved patio and outdoor area). Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with separate toilet and a laundry containing washing machine and dryer. The back porch which leads onto the private car park has ample room for skis, boards and outdoor equipment. Heated by portable gas fires and oil filled heaters, both bedrooms are warm and comfortable; all of the beds have electric blankets provided, of course.

Upstairs, the living area is spacious and sun filled, with French doors which open on to the sun deck where you’ll find arguably the best view in Methven - Mount Hutt in all its majestic glory.

In the evening, when the temperature plummets, a relaxing leather sofa, TV/DVD and Gas Fire make this the perfect room to unwind and even dine – the kitchen boasts an Italian Hob and Oven as well as a fridge, dishwasher and microwave should you feel culinary creative.

Glen Byrne Ski Lodge is a five minute walk from Methven town centre but should that small distance daunt you, next door is Forest Lodge where the bar and acclaimed restaurant is open 7 days and nights a week.

The Leopard ski bus picks up passengers from Forest Lodge daily and all of the ski shuttle operators will collect you from Glen Byrne Lodge for no additional charge, meaning there is no need for you to drive for the duration of your stay.
